Tax-Exempt Properties

Florida Law requires the applicant to timely apply. There are a number of exempt classifications each with their own requirements. Even if applied for and entitled, the appeals process is sometimes required if there is a denial.

Almarie Outreach Ministries - We successfully helped the applicant overcome past issues to obtain tax exempt status for their various properties.

Talmudic University - Successfully applied for exempt status while their new facility is under rehabilitation.

City of Miami Beach  - Old City Hall. Represented for years while the property was taxable. Successfully negotiated an agreement to obtain tax exempt status based on the rehabilitation and re-tenancy of the various government agencies. Also successfully applied for tax exempt status for the City's Byron Carlyle Theater. We also appeal the values on the city's taxable properties including the 16th street parking garage (800 car spots and 20,000 sqft of retail).
