Adam Cappel
Mr. Cappel is Vice-President of Property Tax Adjusters, Inc and is responsible for all aspects of ad valorem tax cases including preparation, analysis and hearings.
Previously, Mr. Cappel was President and Co-Founder of CondoReports.com where he was responsible for the company's market research, operations and strategic direction. Mr. Cappel’s market research has been cited by the New York Times, Investor’s Business Daily, The Miami Herald, National Multi-Housing News, South Florida Business Journal, Housing Finance News, Inman News, The Daily Business Review and Miami Today. He was also a featured speaker at the 4th Annual RealShare South Florida Conference. Prior to CondoReports.com, Mr. Cappel served as Vice-President at Madison Capital Group where he was integral in the financing and sale of over $500 million worth of apartment and condominium projects in Florida. Mr. Cappel served two years in AmeriCorps NCCC, a full-time national community service program.
Mr. Cappel graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Union College in New York. He has served on Union's Board of Trustees and is a graduate of and facilitator in the Greater Miami Chamber of Conference’s Leadership Miami Program.
Irina Ferrera – Office Manager
Has been with PTA since 2000. Ms. Ferrera oversees PTA’s support staff and administrative functions including but not limited to maintenance of client accounts, hearings calendar and special projects.
Mercy Morell
Ms. Morell primary responsibilities include preparation of client case files. This includes client communications to insure PTA has needed property data to prepare successful cases.
Beverly Kingsbury
Ms. Kingsbury oversees client invoicing and fee collections as well as related County Tax Collector issues.
Rachel S. Appel
Conducts field inspections of Client Properties, maintains pictorial database, assists in the preparation of applications for Federal and local historic preservation tax credits and abatements, and undertakes special projects as needed.
James Redd
Has been with PTA part time and summers since 2007 as he pursues his Finance degree at the University of Miami. He creates and maintains our client database, electronic files and templates. James also assists in the preparation of ad valorem tax cases including financial analysis.

PTA’s additional full and part time dedicated support staff is also available to address current and potential client questions and requirements.
